Trisha frequently struggles to attend school due to her fragile health. Furthermore, her parents are often away working to earn a living, which leaves her without the guidance and support she needs for her education. Trisha is one of six siblings, and her mother recently gave birth to another child. Her father consistently struggles to provide enough food and education for his children; unfortunately, when he feels overwhelmed by these challenges, he resorts to substance abuse, which only deepens their family's poverty. All of Trisha’s siblings are registered as malnourished in their local barangay, and her father also suffers from liver disease. He recently had to quit his job at a shoe factory because his health condition made it impossible for him to work in an environment with chemical fumes. We kindly ask for your support to help Trisha recover her health so she can attend school regularly and find the hope and strength to thrive, despite the difficult environment she faces.
