For the past 15 years, since 2009, I have been serving in the impoverished communities of the Philippines, dedicated to caring for children who have faced significant adversity and hardship.
These children often came from unstable family backgrounds, struggling with the absence of parents and the instability of their home environments. Left to fend for themselves on the streets, many had to survive by begging or scavenging to get by. Without access to education or a safe environment, these children were vulnerable to exploitation and had lost all hope for their future, left to wander without guidance or support.
When they found our community, it became a source of light that sparked their spiritual, educational, and emotional growth. Through the dedicated support of our sponsors, we have been able to provide them with the care, nutrition, and education they need, all guided by the love of Jesus. Some of these children have since grown up to graduate from university or have mastered vocational skills, now living as productive, happy members of society. Others have started their own families and have become strong leaders in our church community. Witnessing such profound transformations in their lives gives us renewed strength and serves as a precious testament to our mission.
